Full Conference registration includes access to all conference sessions across the three days, daily catering (morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, as outlined in the programme), the Thursday evening networking function, and the Hui-ā-Tau Formal Dinner on Saturday evening. Travel and accommodation are not included and are the responsibility of attendees.

Kāo. This year, the focus will be on the launch of Waiata Hou, bringing our Hunga together to learn and celebrate our new waiata.

A limited number of subsidised tauira registrations are available and are allocated to university rōpū through Tūmatakahuki – National Māori Law Students’ Association. Tauira cannot register directly through the general Hui-ā-Tau registration form and should contact their university rōpū for information about ticket allocation and availability. Alternatively, firms and organisations are welcome to support tauira to attend Hui-ā-Tau by registering them at the standard member or non-member rate.

Yes. Dinner Only registration will be available from 1 October 2026, subject to availability. Places are strictly limited by venue capacity.

No. Registration for Hui-ā-Tau 2026 is for the full conference and includes all conference sessions, catering, the Thursday evening networking function and the Hui-ā-Tau Formal Dinner. Day rates and registrations excluding the Formal Dinner are not available this year. This approach supports delegates to take part in the full Hui-ā-Tau experience, including the important opportunities to connect outside of the conference sessions.

Member registration rates are available only to current financial members of Te Hunga Rōia Māori o Aotearoa. To renew your membership, visit THRMOA Membership. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the conference organisers. Cancellations received on or before 18 October 2026 will receive a full refund. Cancellations received between 19 October and 1 November 2026 will receive an 80% refund. Cancellations received from 2 November 2026 onwards are non-refundable. Substitutions may be accepted at the organisers’ discretion. Please refer to the Terms & Conditions for full details.

Yes. Photographers and videographers will be capturing Hui-ā-Tau throughout the conference for promotional, communications and reporting purposes. By attending, you acknowledge that photographs or footage in which you appear may be used by Te Hunga Rōia Māori o Aotearoa. If you have any concerns about being photographed or filmed, please speak with the registration team on arrival.

Te Hunga Rōia Māori Awards will not be held at Hui-ā-Tau 2026. This year, the programme has been intentionally streamlined to create more space for our Hunga to connect, wānanga and spend time together, with plenty of opportunities throughout the Hui to celebrate and reconnect.
