Judge Aidan Warren

Judge Aidan Warren was appointed to the Māori Land Court in 2021 and is the resident judge for the Aotea District. He is also a member of the Waitangi Tribunal. Prior to his appointment, he spent more than 20 years in private practice, specialising in Māori legal issues including Treaty settlements, post-settlement governance, Māori land law, resource management and public law.
