Lynell Tuffery Huria

Lynell Tuffery Huria is a Partner at Kāhui Legal and one of New Zealand’s leading experts in indigenous intellectual property law. Recognised as the country’s first Māori patent attorney, she has more than 30 years’ experience advising sole traders, start-ups, whānau, hapū, iwi and multinational organisations on trade marks, intellectual property and commercial law. Lynell is also a former Chair of the Indigenous Rights Committee for the International Trademark Association.
