Maia Wikaira

Maia Wikaira is a Tumuaki at Whāia Legal, specialising in environmental, local government and public law, Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the interface of tikanga and the law. A Fulbright scholar and Stanford graduate, Maia works across litigation, public policy and legislative reform and is a strong advocate for amplifying iwi, hapū and Māori voices. She is also a member of the New Zealand Council of Legal Education.
