Matthew Nathan

Matthew Nathan is a Partner in MC’s Crown Specialist Group and a highly experienced trial and appellate lawyer with more than 25 years’ experience as a prosecutor in Australia and New Zealand. He has appeared as lead counsel in more than 200 jury trials involving serious and complex criminal matters and has extensive appellate experience. Matthew was appointed Senior Counsel in 2015, became Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions for the Northern Territory of Australia in 2018, and later served as President of the Australian Association of Crown Prosecutors before joining MC in 2021.
