Tumanako Silveira

Tumanako Silveira was raised in kōhanga reo and kura, with te reo Māori and tikanga at the centre of his journey. Admitted in 2020, he began his legal career working in the Waitangi Tribunal and Māori Land Court and now practises primarily as criminal defence counsel in the Rotorua District Court. His connection to te ao Māori also extends across kapa haka, television and sports broadcasting.
